"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8)."

Before Jesus' ascension, He gave Christians the command to be His witnesses in 3 areas.

The first is Jerusalem, our place of comfort & familiarity like our church, home or workplace/school where we have family & friends who still do not know the Savior. The second is Judea & Samaria where it would take a 1st Century Jewish Christian to be more intentional in order to enter. For us, this may be our community or city where without trust in our Lord Jesus Christ, intentionality & obedience, we will never enter. Lastly, Jesus calls us to be witnesses in other parts of the world.

We believe that unless we are Christ-centered, the gospel-driven & mission-minded, we cease to be the church. Although there is still much work to be done, currently we are involved in the following ministries to stay obedient to Christ.

- Manna is a ministry that provides care packages to the homeless who visit our church for prayers & assistance.

- To better serve our Tampa community, we go and serve at SHARE Florida Food Network (www.shareflorida.org) on the last Saturday of each month. Our church also supports & assists Metropolitan Ministries (www.metromin.org), and Florida United Methodist Children's Home (www.fumch.org).

- Every summer, we send a mission team to other parts of the world to see & serve what God is doing globally. In the past, we have gone to Honduras, and this year, a team of 24 was sent to Peru to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has been a life-changing experience.
